Work can still be a pain in the butt, but not so much anymore as I finally get used to the flow of things, even if the flow is still just as (if not more) chaotic. I've warmed up to (most of) my coworkers and their loony quirks and oddities, and am finally getting used to things not going as perfect as I'd like. I'm getting somewhat faster, tho it seems these last two weeks have thrown some rather tricky jobs my way, mostly in the form of molded headliners... *shudders* Still, soon enough I might just get over my "I'm-dewmed-til-retirement" mindset and have enough creative juice left over at the end of the day to attempt some artwork.
As for that, I've been thinkin' up different situations and fleshing out my characters in my head. It'd be interesting to try getting these ideas out in text or in pictures if I just had the energy. Which as I said, may be a non-issue soon. We'll see.
Oh, and if all goes well, the Saturday after next may see me going with a church buddy of mine to an airsoft skirmish. or two. I've got a spare mag for the SG552 I got at MetroCon and my old spring-powered Taurus for back-up, as well as a bit of military-surplus gear to look the part. I might finally have found something cool enough to get my pale white butt out into the sun for a change. Here's to war games!
