Yeeeeah baby. It's comin', and the hype is finally catchin' up to me. Metrocon 2007- the reg booth opens at 9am this Saturday, and if all goes to plan, I'll be standin' in that very line. Even work is going better with all the thoughts bouncing thru my head; thoughts of vendor booths and voice actors, previews and panels, and all things otaku conglomerated under one convention center roof. I need to make sure my camera has batteries, and a memory card in it to boot. This should be one to remember.

My art bug is still frazzled, but I might try to cook something up. Been watchin' a good deal of stuff lately, and I've also been playing Okami (a very art-oriented game, and unbelievable fun), so the inspiration is there- just not the energy. July 4th is also mine, tho, so maybe I'll be able to relax enough for something to finally come out after so long.

As for work, it's still a bit chaotic. My confidence level is getting a little higher, tho, as I learn the ropes and figure out ways to make more out of each job. Working as a flat rate tech this early has some disadvantages, but once I get good, I'll be able to rake in the real cash.

And with such a glorious weekend ahead of me, I can maybe keep my chin up a bit higher.
